The work I create reflects my strong love of place; where I grew up in North Western Canada, where I am now in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and recent places I have visited.
Through the use of porcelain clay, I am able to create beautiful light and depth. Trees, flowers and birds are painted and or silk- screened on the vessels using a variety of slips and underglazes.
In some of my work I place LED lights into the sculptural forms to further enhance the porcelains transparency properties.
