Established in 2000 the Jonathon Bancroft-Snell Gallery has evolved into a destination for ceramic collectors. Each year the gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions, The exhibitions range from solo exhibitions to group exhibitions all with a specific theme culminating every five years in “Matter of Clay”, our largest national exhibition. Matter of Clay III in 2011 featured the work of over 100 artists.

A unique aspect of our gallery is showcasing not only major exhibition pieces but also the ‘repeat’ work by which many artists earn their living.
